Military mast operates with the line of sight and it has a short range coveragee, so more than pme mast needs to be erected if covering long distances and unfavourable terrain. They are essentially potential target in any conflict. The depployment therefore has to be done in such a way as to conceal them from the opposition force,while getting the maximum operational use
As a GIS Specialist, after the spatial analysis of the area of interest. We have identified 5 best possible points where the antenna(s) can be mounted as relay stations. It would be on the Units' advantage to use all 5 points that we identified to ensure effective communication line between the platoon and HQ
